"It's the Season to Be Jolly..." (Plus: Don't miss The FAQ Book On Public Speaking Christmas Special!)

HoHoHo! It's the Christmas season and it's a time of giving, sharing and love.

I met up with Eric and our friends today for some good food, fun and laughter.

As I was sitting in our friend's car on the way to watch a movie, the radio was playing the song "Love, Me" by Collin Raye.

With the music playing in the background, I began to appreciate all the things that I am having in my life, all the friends that I know, all the mentors that have helped to shape who I am today.

I am grateful that The FAQ Book On Public Speaking happened in my life. And I want to thank you for following us throughout this process, for being part of our dream.

We are so blessed.

How about you? What would your Christmas be like? What are the wishes you have for the new year?

Now, we might not be able to help you get your million dollars, drive a BMW or to go on a date with Jessica Alba. But we might be able to help you fulfill your wishes in the area of public speaking, be it engaging the audience, being funny or getting that standing ovation.

Since we are in the festive mood, we are having a Christmas Special for The FAQ Book On Public Speaking!

You are getting the entire package, including 5 Free Fast Action Bonus Gifts worth over $200 at just more than 70% discount. However, this limited time offer will not last forever . Christmas Special ends 31 Dec 2007 midnight. (After that, the price goes back to its original price) Don't miss out on this!

Check it out now!

Remember to appreciate and acknowledge all the things that you have, and have fun.

Merry Christmas!
Andrew

Of Writing And Gratitude

At 10.26 am today Sri Lanka time, I submitted the last batch of content to my editor for final proofreading. I can’t help but feel a huge sense of completion. The kind that makes you want to rush out of your hotel room and do a little chicken dance in front of all the kids at the poolside. Ever since I came back from US last October, I wanted to write a book but procrastination and self doubt got in the way. It was only in February this year that the book idea came back with a new found fervency. Credits go to my partner-in-crime, Andrew.

Look! Who’s Talking La?

“Look! Who’s Talking La?” is the title of our very first Speaker Idol Show that will be launching mid September on Active Channel TV.

It all started from a chance encounter with Todd, CEO and producer of Active Channel TV. From our conversation, he learnt that Andrew and I were writing a book on public speaking. And as we were brainstorming on ways to promote the book internationally, the idea of doing a speaking show hit us.

And before we knew it, we were making plans of shooting a Singapore version of Speaker Idol.

Public Speaking in Sri Lanka?

I am very glad to announce that The FAQ Guys are expanding their operations… to Sri Lanka!

Well…no. Actually Eric is going there for his six months overseas assignment. And by the time you read this, he should already be in Sri Lanka. You can read about it »

Introducing Irene Ang and Kelvin Lim

Since this is officially my first hard copy book, I have invited two of my mentors to write with me. One is Irene Ang, popularly known as Rosie Phua in Phua Chu Kang. The other is Kelvin Lim, my personal coach and also one of the highest paying coaches in Asia. Personal reasons aside, they are also phenomenal speakers in their own rights. And if you want to become a great speaker, you got to learn from the best!

While Waiting for the BIG Launch...

From now till the launch of the book, we'll be posting on this site. We'll be writing about:

· What's the book's about
· How we’re marketing the book
· How the book can help you become a better speaker
· Freebies for you to win!

Feel free to sign up above. You will get first hand updates and special offers. And to thank you for signing up, we are giving you a FREE sample chapter to have a look!

Welcome To The FAQ Blog!

Hi, my name is Andrew and I am one half of the FAQ guys (No, we are not a boyband…)

You see, I was having coffee with Eric (the other half of the FAQ guys) at Starbucks one day and I asked him

"If you get to spend one hour with world class speakers for a one-on-one, personal consultation for public speaking from each of them, what would you ask?"

We pondered over this and realised that we have A LOT of questions to ask. People have asked the same old questions on public speaking over and over again but they are not getting the answers they want.
