Who made up the FAQ guys?

Andrew and Eric. Eric is the better looking one… ok fine, he is the guy on the left.

C’mon, a little more background please.

Andrew: What you need (ok, want) to know about me- I live in Singapore and right now I’m an undergraduate doing my Business degree in Singapore Management University.

I aspire to be a celebrity CEO one day. Being a student and an entrepreneur at the same time, I find myself studying business both in school and in the real world.

My dream is to
-become rich
-marry a beautiful, caring and intelligent wife
-save the world.

Stop laughing…

Oh and I like to be on stage (though the nerves hit me sometimes)! I am currently honing my skills as a public speaker, host, trainer and coach.

Eric: I was popularly known as the guy who “won” the speech contest in my secondary school days. If you were studying in Anderson Secondary between 1994 – 1997, you probably won’t remember me since you had no freaking decency to look up and listen to this poor boy speak that fateful Friday afternoon. Instead, you chose to have senseless chats with your friend sitting besides you.

Fortunately this poor boy was resilient. Two years ago, he returned to speak competitively and that was after seeing a psychiatrist for the past eight years (ok kidding about the pyschiatrist). If you do read the papers, you would probably have saw him being featured on Straits Time – Singapore’s national papers - as one of the top 25 alternate achievers under 25, thanks to his public speaking achievements in States and Singapore. In his spare time, Eric runs a training company and writes at The Public Speaking Blog (http://blog.ericfeng.com), ranked first on the google blog search under “Public Speaking”.

So what is this FAQ Book on XXX all about?

It’s a cheat sheet to make XXX easy and painless for you. You ask the questions and we get you the answers. It’s that simple. So you guys are public speaking gurus now?

No, we’re not gurus and we don’t plan to be. We are just like you – with lots of questions in our little heads about many different things in life. The only difference is that we are way more impatient than you, which drove us to seek out the answers from experts around the world.
